Welcome! I’m a PhD Candidate in Anthropology at the University of New Mexico. Amongst other things, I research how we construct, circulate, enact our beliefs about nuclear weapons and national security, identity, and power.

This blog is intended as a space for interacting with interested folk, sharing my research, and getting my thoughts in order. Better understandings, and critiques, of how we make and enact meaning about nuclear weapons, the nation, and security can provide insights for how we can build a safer, less doomsday prone world.
